The Hess - Gilles Families Heart Walk Team

Three years ago in August of 2004 our Mr. Incredible was born. The day he was born was the happiest in our lives. We have had a lot of ups and downs since that day, but my little guy has always shown me there are many good things in this world. He has continued everyday since he was born to inspire us, amaze us, and be our Mr. Incredible.

I am a survivor. I have a rare heart defect know as Pulmonary Atresia. That means I was born with out a pulmonary valve. In order for my heart to be able to pump blood into my body I have had 3 major open-heart surgeries, and 11 other invasive heart surgeries. I am 3 years old. I am a tough little guy and most people can't tell that I might be any different, unless they see my zipper. I have continued to amaze those around me, especially my mom and dad who are grateful I have done so well. I have an exorbitant amount of energy, although doctors told my parents I would always be tired and lag behind other children my age. On Saturday September 15, 2007 I am helping the American Heart Association fight the nation's leading causes of death by participating in my 3rd Heart Walk. Please become a sponsor so that I may reach my goal of $2000. Every little bit helps even those only able to give $1.

What's New?

This years Heart Walk will be on Saturday September 15, 2007, and will be held as always at Balboa Park.
